River Lodge
offers a wide variety of mountain cabins accommodating up to eleven guests.
Many offer fireplaces, views of the lake, and all are nestled among the
towering pines. In your cabin you will find a fully furnished kitchen, linens
and bedding. For added rest and relaxation, there are no phones in your
cabin. Each cabin has a basic satellite TV, VCR and an air conditioner.
Phone messages are posted at the office and there is a pay phone adjacent
to the office for your convenience. We have limited cell phone service. |
 Amenities
at Pine River Lodge - Indoor heated pool (12'x30'). Open swimming from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Kids, bring your small pool toys! Swim/exercise 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.for adults only. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. - Large playground with old fashioned equipment - swings, slides, teeter totter, merry-go-round, jungle gym, spring animals, sand box, volleyball, picnic tables and central campfire area. - Small game room with ping pong table, coin operated pool table, video game, and an antique rinky dink piano. - Charcoal barbecue grill at each cabin - Coin operated guest laundry We charge a daily fee for those not staying at Pine River Lodge to use our recreation facilities. |

We have several larger cabins (#1, #22, #30, #12, #14) along with smaller cabins on the upper side of the county road which are excellent locations for family meals, visiting, etc. These cabins are all a short walk from the pool, playground, large picnic area, game room, and each other. We have a minimum four night stay for large groups. We encourage each cabin to make their own reservations. Due to the time required to clean cabins, we can only allow ten cabins (total lodge) to arrive and depart on the same day. The only exception would be during the off-season.
The Christmas holidays are a special time of year at the resort. We decorate outside with a multitude of colorful lights and a sprinkling of decorations in your cabin. Children are delighted when Santa drops in on Christmas Eve with candy and a surprise. RESERVATIONS Due to the large variety and number of cabins, we require reservations to be made by phone. Call 970-884-2563 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. to reserve your cabins. Guests are responsible for payment for all days reserved upon arrival. Refunds for cancellations or changes made less than 60 days prior to arrival depend upon our ability to re-rent the canceled dates. There is a $50 fee for each cabin canceled 60 or more days prior to arrival. No refund of deposit on cancellations with less than 60 days advance notice unless cabin is re-rented. No refunds for early departures so please be sure of your dates. A three night deposit (check, money order, or cashiers check, no credit cards) must be sent within two weeks of making your reservation. Please call to cancel your reservation if your plans change prior to sending your deposit. CHECK IN: AFTER 4 P.M. CHECK OUT: 11 A.M. ADDITIONAL CHARGES Additional charges per night: $10 each extra person/children under 4 free; $15 each pet (no cats). Pets are not to be left unattended inside or outside the cabins at any time. Tents, campers, trailers, or motorhomes are not allowed on the premises for sleeping. |
